Check this out! A new bonus tool has been developed which allows objects to be placed along a parent shape at every “Nth” point instead of at regular intervals.

This is a regularly requested feature for DVSP, and is available NOW.

This tool was updated to “Version B” today, to fix a small issue which affected Autodesk VIZ 2008 and 3ds max 9.

This tool was updated to “Version C” today, to add a feature for applying random rotation (useful for tree placement), and to fix a bug that some users were experiencing which prevented DVSP from starting when any of the Bonus Tools were installed.  Other Bonus Tools were also updated to “Version C” to fix the same problem.

This is a handy tool but just remember to try to keep your string/line lengths short as the accuracy of the placement is a percentage of the string length and very long strings (as I found out) can be too innacurate.
