Just started to try a network deployment of MAX and VSP and I have a test scene using a swept object.  Tried the farm and it errors that it’s missing images from C:\Program Files\3am Solutions\Dynamite VSP 3\Globals\SurfaceMaps.

I changed the pathings to come from our standards drive however there were some asphalt maps and stuff sitting in the SurfaceMaps folder.  I have copied these folders to part of the search path so it will be found however I’d have thought that all provided imagery would have been stored in the resource kit folders?

Peter, simply using the “Include Maps” option when you submit the job to Backburner would solve this one.

Yeah, aware of that.  Just trying to make sure I’m abreast of all the small surprises that pop up.

Ah - ok.  In v3.6, there are some new maps that were added to the product as part of the new DynamiteSurfaces material definition. To avoid the risk of currently active resource kits not being updated by the service pack installer, we took the decision to put the new maps in the globals folder, since they apply to all scenes.
